A very massive Mercedes-Benz W140 S600, seemingly abandoned at a car market in Shanghai. This monster was the first S-class model which was available with a V12 and this S600 is just such a machine. The 6.0 liter ‘M120’ poops out 402hp and 580nm, good for a by that time unbelievable 240 km/h top speed.

No doubt Rovio in Finland didn’t okay this, but what can they do about this sorta things from so far up reindeer-north? The Angry Bird apps are extremely popular in China, so this indeed must be flattery. For 25 yuan, almost 4 USD.
The BYD-Daimler joint venture officially launched its new Denza brand today at a little party in Shenzhen. They did not show the car but did announce the Chinese name: Tengshi (腾势). We had already seen the logo but it was now official and in the right colors, depicting a water droplet. They also unveiled a really catchy English slogan: “EV the Future”, and a website without a car: www.denza.com. The car will debut on April 23 on the Beijing Auto Show, it will hit the market in 2013.
Here we have a very smart Mini-driver from China, likely a woman. She tries to fool the speed camera’s by sticking a sanitary napkin on the ‘A’ in her license plate. Qoros organizes a little event for the press on Tuesday in Shanghai. They showed an updated version of the hilarious cow-car that debuted in December last year. The black paint has gone but otherwise it seems the same vehicle for 99%.
Here we have a very fine Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 Super Veloce in black, seen in the great city of Tangshan in Hebei Province. The Murcialgo SV was made in 2009 and 2010, total production was only 350 cars.
The Beijing Auto B40 and B70 will be listed on the Chinese car market in September, the final production cars will debut at the Beijing Auto Show next month. New spy shots from the upcoming Renault Talisman, a new large sedan for the Chinese car market, it will debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April and it will be listed soon after that. The Talisman will be imported from South Korea, it is based on the Renault-Samsung SM7 that by itself is based on Nissan’s J31 platform.
Venucia, Kaichen in Chinese, is a new sub-brand from the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture. Their fisrt car is the Nissan Tiida-based Venucia D50 which will be listed on the China car market on April 25. Venucia will also make an EV, it will be based on the Nissan Leaf. One new spy shot shows its design is only slightly different than the Leaf, it will hit the market “before 2015”.
