Spy Shots: JAC B-SUV is Ready for Beijing

Published on March 15, 2012 by Tycho de Feijter

Here we have the first pics of the final production version of the JAC B-SUV, aka JAC SII. The JAC SII will debut next month at the Beijing Auto Show and marks the first ‘modern-style’ SUV for JAC, all its other SUV’s are basically not much more than rebadged old Hyundai’s, with one very notable exception. The SII however will still use Hyundai underpinnings and loox, well.., like a modern Hyundai does. Progress? Sure some.

Mirrors seem on the big side here. Not a bad idea in China where nobody can drive, so one can at least keep an eye on all the others. The JAC SII will be powered initially by a 1.8, a 1.5 turbo will follow in 2013. Price will start around 100.000 yuan. More spy shots likely to follow soon…
