Mercedes-Benz SL500 is red-pink in China
It isn’t really red, it isn’t really pink. This R230 Mercedes-Benz SL500 then, is red-pink in China. The wrap looked fantastic under the hot sun on a surprisingly clear sky in Beijing. Autumn is coming and that usually means a lotta dirt in the air…
The fifth generation Mercedes-Benz SL was made from 2002 until 2012 and was the first SL that was officially exported to China. This red-pink bomb is a pre-facelift model that was produced from 2002 until 2008. The SL500 was powered by a 5.0 V8 that pooped out 308hp. The SL is still a rare automachine in China, we only got two: a really pink SL63 AMG and a perfect white R129 SL500.
