It has been a while since we have seen a proper Pink car in China. Sadly, the pinky-trend seems somewhat over. But happily, this Maserati Ghilbi still stands, wrapped in a very near matte pink wrap, with shiny license plate frames.
Zotye is going to launch a female-only variant of their SR9 SUV Porsche Macan clone called the ‘Godess’. It will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show next month. The company has just released images of the interior and we are very impressed. Pink rules!
Pink lining in roof-mounted control panel, pink dash top, pink decorations on doors, a pink arm rest, pink lines around the center tunnel, and what the little ladies will appreciate most: a pink gear lever knob. Still, that is not even all.
This pink Maserati GT looks a bit more aerodynamic than it should because it was hit by a heavy telephone pole that fell over in a storm in the great city of Fujian in Fuzhou Province. The pole hit the Maser’ bang on the right A-pillar. Miraculously the driver escaped without major injuries, and happily there was no passenger in the car.
The Zotye SR9 is a very good clone of the Porsche Macan. But now Zotye is going to do something that Porsche never did: they will offer a female-only edition and it is going to be called Goddess. The SR9 Goddess will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show next month. It features a pink-painted body, pink mirrors, a pink dashboard, creamy white seats, and…
There is nothing I wanted more than a pink double cab 3-wheel pickup truck with searchlights on the roof. Many years I dreamed and searched, but my quest has finally come to a very happy end. This little beauty is the Xuzhou Suding four-door electric tricycle. It doesn’t really have but it doesn’t really need one; it has searchlights on the roof, three of ‘m, and they are big!
A very pretty Porsche Panamera, Spotted in China on the Beijing Tuning Street. The good Porsche is wrapped in a mind freaking gold light Pink wrap and further sexed up with a body kit, darkened windows, HRE alloys, shiny green brake pads, and ultra low tires.
A very happy Tesla Model S, Spotted in China on the southern section of the Second Ring Road in Beijing. The good Tes’ was wrapped in an eye killing shiny Pink wrap and further sexed up with darkened rear lights, a very dark rear window, darkened side windows, and matte black alloys. The wrap nearly covered the bumpers, mirrors, and door handles; the holy trinity of a proper wrap.
An ultra hip Audi A1, Spotted in China on a busy street in Beijing. The good Audi is wrapped is two wraps: a shiny Pink one for the lower body and a carbon black one for the upper body, making for a great combination of colors. Only letdown are the standard wheel covers, something shiny or black would have been better.
A very pretty BMW z4 sporty car, Spotted in China in the capital Beijing by Reader Lao Wei, thank you for the pictures! The good Bimmer is wrapped in an eye smoothing shiny Pink wrap, and further sexed up with darkened rear lights, a Pink-white BMW badge, and shiny exhaust pipes. Best of all is the license plate reading N·541Z4.
The Chinese car market is still young and very wild. Many people are genuinely proud they can afford a vehicle and they genuinely love to show that off. Wrapping is very popular, the more outrageous the colors the better. Today’s main trends are wrapping in bling and in Pink. I like the latter more.
I have been following the Pink car wrapping scene for ages and this is my Top Ten. I am working with a system that rewards points for the quality of the wrap and for the trinity score; a wrap is full perfect if it covers three parts of the car besides the body: the bumpers, the mirrors, and the door handles.
Quality is qualified as: good, perfect, and brilliant (there are no bad wraps, really). The trinity score is qualified as: 1/3, 2/3, or 3/3.
Here we go:
