Mitsubishi Pajero is Black in the Rain in China
A beautiful black Mitsubishi Pajero, seen in heavy rain in the great city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province. The vehicle was parked near a black Bentley Continental GT on a lot near the ferry to Zhuhai, where I met a black Plymouth Sundance just one hour earlier. The good vehicle was clearly in need for some work but overall in reasonable condition.
The first generation Mitsubishi Pajero was made from 1992 until 1991, it was exported to China but only in very small numbers. The Pajero was available with many power plants ranging from 2.0 until 3.0, diesel or petrol. Sadly I couldn’t establish what was under the bonnet here. Back in November last year I met a rather ragged Hyundai Galloper in Beijing, which was basically a rebadged first-gen Pajero.
