The very first examples of the brand new Beijing Auto Weiwang mini-MPV have arrived at dealers throughout China with a pre-sale price of 62.800 yuan. However, the Weiwang M20 hasn’t been officially launched on the China car market yet; that is expected to happen later this month.

Power comes from a BJ415B 1.5 liter engine with 106hp, mated to a 5-speed manual. Size: 4440/1700/1783, wheelbase is 2790. The Weiwang M20 will compete with fine cars such as the Chang’an Ounuo and the Wuling Hongguang.

The Weiwang M20 is produced in the city of Chongqing by ‘Beiqi Yinxiang Automobile’, a new joint venture between Beijing Auto (Beiqi) and the Yinxiang Motorcycle Group from Chongqing. The joint venture will also make the Beijing Auto SC20 mini SUV.
