Guangzhou Auto continues to expand the successful Trumpchi line. These are the first Spy Shots of the Trumpchi GA8, a new sedan that will be positioned above the recently launched Trumpchi GA6 sedan. The latter is already Camry-sized, so the new GA8 is going to be big.

The base engine for the Trumpchi GA8 will be a 1.8 turbo with 177 and 242nm mated to a seven-speed DCT. Top engine will be a 2.0 turbo which was somewhat previewed on the recent Detroit Auto Sow, where a 400hp 2.0 turbo appeared in a GA6 Limited concept car. The real-world engine will likely have an output of about 225hp.
