What you should know about Haval H5

The Haval H5 is an SUV that stands on the platform of the Great Wall King Kong Poer (Cannon) pickup truck. As a result, it has become significantly bigger than the previous generation H5. For clarity, the new generation is 540 mm longer, 105 mm wider and 80 mm higher than the old one. Its exact dimensions are 5190/1905/1833 mm with a wheelbase of 3140 mm. The exterior of the Haval H5 has large trapeze-shaped headlights, a giant chrome-plated grille and a relatively high beltline. Its approach and departure angles are 25 and 22 degrees, respectively. On the other hand, the new H5 has a drawback. It is available only with a 5-seat interior layout.

Speaking about the interior of the Haval H5, it has a 12.3-inch touch screen, a 3.5-inch screen in the instrument panel, and up to six speakers. Its seats are wrapped in leatherette. But the materials of the interior are clearly not the best side of the Haval H5. Its main benefit is the space inside the cabin. If you fold the second row of its seats, you get 2116 L.

  1. Man if they added even a small third row and kept the price competitive, that thing would sell like hotcakes in East Malaysia and Indonesia. Oh and bring the diesels. 🙂
