Beijing Auto is working on a new C60 SUV, based on the old Saab 9-3. The SUV will debut as a concept at the Beijing Auto Show in April. Beijing Auto bought the rights for the old Saab 9-5 and 9-3 from General Motors back in 2010. (Saab-fans don’t cry yet, crappy Photoshop is my work).

Since then Beijing Auto is busy developing its own cars; the C70G sedan based on the Saab 9-5 and the C60 sedan based on the Saab 9-3. The production versions of the C70G and C60 might or might not appear at the Beijing Auto Show. The 9-3 based SUV concept will however certainly appear, powered by Saab’s very own 2.0 turbo that Beijing Auto bought as well.
