The 10,000th Zeekr 007 GT estate rolled off the production line – handed over at the factory

The 10,000th Zeekr 007 GT electric estate from Geely Group rolled off the production line 31 days after the assembly had started. This batch of vehicles was handed over to customers at the factory in a move to underline Zeekr’s speed. This model will sell in Europe as the Zeekr 7 GT.

The first mass-produced Zeekr 007 GT estate (or shooting brake) rolled off the production line in China on April 14. It started sales the following day on April 15. Priced between 202,900 – 262,900 yuan (28,150 – 36,480 USD), the 007 GT became the direct rival of the Nio ET5 Touring.

The 10,000th Zeekr 007 GT produced in China

On May 15, Zeekr officially announced that the 10,000th 007 GT estate rolled off the production line, a month after its sales had started in China. This vehicle is being assembled at the Zeekr plant in Hangzhou. This facility began operating in 2021 with the Zeekr 001 estate as the first mass-produced model. The factory’s showroom got a Muse Design Award in 2025. The Hangzhou plant’s planned production volume reaches 300,000 units yearly.

To mark the production of the commemorative 007 GT, Zeekr invited its customers to visit the Hangzhou plant. After the batch of electric estates rolled off the production line, they were immediately handed over to clients. Zeekr shared this story on social media, saying, “10,000 units off the production line, extremely fast delivery”.

Zeekr assembles 322 units of 007 GT every day on average. It is thirteen vehicles each hour and one car every five minutes. It isn’t an exceptional production tempo. However, it is a good number for a high-end segment, which the Zeekr 007 GT is a part of.

At the Zeekr Hangzhou factory, artificial intelligence is highly integrated into the manufacturing process. It helped to increase the output value per capita by 40% year-on-year. The one-time qualified rate of the whole vehicle reached 99.99%. The use of a 5G network and real-time data processing with machine vision and learning allowed for a mixed-line automated inspection, reducing labor costs by 80%.
