Avatr, the Changan-Catl-Huawei joint venture launches revised Avatr 12 sedan at a lowered price

Avatr is a former Changan - Nio joint venture. Later Nio was replaced by CATL. Avatr 12 has lot sof Huawei tech inside and no rear window.

The second model under Changan's Avatr brand, Avatr 12, received over 6,700 orders in 36 hours upon the official sale's start on November 10

Avatr 12 from Changan, Huawei and CATL is finally launched with an air suspension and huge 35.4-inch screen inside the cabin.

So far, Huawei, CATL, and Changan have invested more than 2 billion yuan (~274 million USD), according to Avatr's CEO.

Besides China, Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) will manufacture Shenxing battery in the factories in Germany and Hungary

Avatr 12 electric hatchback revealed in Germany with 578 hp and giant screens. Mass-production to start soon.

Avatr 12 will be offered in single-motor and dual-motor versions.
