A ready to race Toyota Reiz, seen in a faraway suburb of east Beijing. The good Toyota has been sexed up considerably by a fatass body kit, white flames on blue paint, a black bonnet and bumpers, sporty tires, and very speedy matte gray 7-spoke alloys with red rims and yellow brake pads.
Rear lights tinted. Side skirts in white, matching the flames. Best of all however is the huge DTM-style wing at the back, which will generate enough down force to shoot this Toyota to New York straight trough the earth. Rear diffuser is impressive as well, flanked by two large exhaust pipes, that are sadly not very shiny.
The Toyota Reiz is made in China by the FAW-Toyota joint venture. Price of the current car starts at 209.800 yuan and ends at 314.800 yuan. Engines: 193hp 2.5 V6 and 227hp 3.0 V6, both mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox sending power to the rear wheels.
Chinese car buyers have a habit of sticking Scion badges on fake Toyota’s. This is the first time I see a Scion badge on a real Toyota. How hip.
Time now for our Famous China-Toyota Reiz Collection™: matte gray, best body kit ever, orange, Xiali N3, lowrider, blue-pink, zebra, black & white, with girl, and with very big balls.
Waw…the competition for the worst Reiz goes on…
second place for now, after this:
