The extension is located behind the B-pillar, resulting in a flatter and longer roof line between the B and the C. The wheelbase of the XFL will be more than 3 meter, the wheelbase of the standard car is 2960. Power will come from a 241hp 2.0 twin-turbo and a 340hp 3.0 V6 twin-turbo.

The Jaguar XFL will be made in China by the Chery-JLR joint venture. that currently makes the Range Rover Evoque and the Land Rover Discovery Sport. Price will range from about 400.000 to 700.000 yuan.

The XFL will debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April and launch on the Chinese car market soon after that. It is long overdue. The idea dates back all the way to 2010, and the first spy shots came in in 2013.
