In China, it is positioned like a hip brand that is aimed at the young customers. The Lynk & Co’s model line comprises seven vehicles (01,02,03,05,06,08 and 09). In the first half of 2023, Lynk & Co sold over 82,000 units. In the overseas markets, Lynk & Co has one model, which is the Lynk & Co 01. However, soon the mysterious Lynk & Co 02 EV will launch in Europe.
Lynk & Co 08 pre-sales
As it goes from the official Lynk & Co announcement, the 08 will start pre-sales on August 8. It looks like they are quite ready for this event since lots of actual Lynk & Co 08 cars were spotted in the dealer centers and Meizu stores across China. However, the first edition of the Lynk & Co 08 will be limited to just 1,008 units. Of course, this decision makes the pre-sales event more valuable. On the other hand, there can be a lot of speculators that will book a car and then resell the reservation to another customer. As a result, this limited edition thing can turn to be really chaotic.
Speaking about the price range of the Lynk & Co 08, it has yet to be revealed. However, according to rumors, its starting price will be about 240,000 yuan (33,435 USD). It is way cheaper than all the 08’s direct competitors, including the Denza N7 from BYD. Anyway, we will wait for the official release.

We will remind you that the Lynk & Co 08 is a mid-size fastback SUV with dimensions of 4820/1915/1685 mm and a wheelbase of 2848 mm. For clarity, the 08 is 68 mm longer, 3 mm narrower and 64 mm higher than the BMW X4. The powertrain of the Lynk & Co 08 comprises a 1.5-liter ICE for 156 hp. It is mated with a 3-speed DHT Pro transmission and two electric motors. The total power output of the Lynk & Co 08 reaches 536 hp. Thanks to a 39.6-kWh ternary (NMC) battery, the 08 can run up to 245 km (CLTC) on a single charge. As for its mixed range in PHEV mode, it reaches 245 km.
