The first Spy Shots of the Beijing Auto Senova X55, a compact SUV scheduled for launch on the Chinese car market in 2015. Senova is on a SUV roll lately, the Senova X65 debuted on the Guangzhou Auto Show and will be launched in H1 2015, and the small Senova X25 will hit the market in late 2015. The X55 will be positioned just under the X65.

Gear lever too cool to be true… But the X55 will have a large screen in the center console, a clock in between the air vents, and rather conservative dials. Power will come from the same engine as in the Senova D50 sedan; a Mitsubishi-sourced 1.5 liter petrol engine with 113hp and 147nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT. Price will start around 80.000 yuan and end around 130.000 yuan.
