Chang’an Yuexiang V3 will hit the Chinese car market in June
The new Chang’an Yuexiang V3 will be launched on the China car market in June, price will range from 50.000 yuan until 70.000 yuan. The Yuexiang V3 is a completely new car for Chang’an designed to compete at the low-end of the small-sedan market.
Power comes from a 1.3 with 93hp and 121nm, mated to a five-speed manual. Chang’an is considering offering other engines, such as a 1.1 and a 1.6, to broaden the V3’s appeal. These engines however will follow later, likely not before 2013. Size: 4180/1650/1465, wheelbase id 2410.
The V3 looks fine and totally unexciting, that is very good because it is exactly what buyers in this segment want. A few fuzzy lines too many and buyers will leave it alone…
