The China-made BMW 5Li will soon be available with a 2.0 turbo ‘Twincharger’engine, with an output of 240hp and mated to a 6-speed manual. The turbocharged Five will be launched on the Chinese auto market in October, price is expected to start just under 400.000 yuan. The hot engine and manual transmission are brought in to bring back some ‘sportiness’ to the BMW-brand. The BMW 5Li is made in China by the Brilliance-BMW joint venture that also makes the 3Li and the BMW X1. Via: Sohu.com.
