The Supercars at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China
Published on November 24, 2015 by Joey Wang
We are almost finished with our coverage of the 2015 Guangzhou Auto Show, we have seen the news, done the girls, so it now time for a shipload of supercars. Starting off with the mighty Bentley GT3-R racecar for the road, painted in black with green stripes and matte black alloys.
Moving on to the Audi R8 LMS race car. Gentleman racing is becoming popular among the wealthy in China, so Audi hopes to sell a lot of these in country.
The new Audi R8 Spyder, or Spyde..?
The James Bond Aston Martin DB10 that won’t see production. Really not. Maybe for the better. Headlights are ugly and it has only 450hp.
The very classy DB9 GT.
The beastly F12berlinetta in red with matte gray alloys. The new ‘tdf’ didn’t show.
A Huracan in lime green on black alloys. Brilliant.
The Rolls-Royce Dawn, in dark blue with an orange stripe.
A sleek two-tone Ghost LWB.
Saleen had a gold plated variant of their speedy ‘Stang.
Porsche brought the new 911 Carrera S Spyder. Turbocharged!
And JLR had more Bond. Reliable sources, wearing sunglasses, told us that there is a lot of interest in China for the Jaguar C-X75. Deposits have been offered, with lots of money on and under the table. Jaguar took note and will take another look at the numbers, for the V8 powered variant. Hmm…
