The Nissan March is made in China by the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture. Price ranges from 59.900 yuan to 92.900 yuan. Currently, the only available engine is a 1.5 liter four-cylinder with 107hp and 138nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a four-speed automatic. The new 1.2S will be mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT.

Sales of the Nissan March are slow in China, the 1.2S needs to win car buyers looking for a more fuel efficient car. Whether the engine will help much is however uncertain, since the March is mostly left alone because Chinese car buyers think it loox old fashioned.
