The Xpeng P7+ has made its official debut in China. It is a family-oriented liftback that keeps the brand’s latest Robo Face design language. Its front end adopts the X-shaped styling with an LED running light strip and headlights integrated into the front bumper. From the back, it has a single taillight unit. From the side, it has hidden door handles and a slanted roofline. It is available in five colors: silver, white, black, purple, and beige.
The Xpeng P7+ is a middle-to-large liftback with dimensions of 5056/1937/1512 mm and a wheelbase of 3000 mm. It is 168 mm longer than the Xpeng P7i sedan (see specs). The center console of the Xpeng P7+ is in line with the Xpeng X9 minivan (see specs). It offers a 15.6-inch main screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. It has a two-spoke steering wheel with a gear shifter mounted behind it. The center tunnel adopts two cup holders and two wireless charging pads for 50 W.
The second-row seats of the Xpeng P7+ have electric adjustments, ventilation, and massage (except for the middle one). There is an 8-inch screen for the rear passengers. The right rear passenger also has a folding table. The Xpeng P7+ also has a spacious trunk with a 4/6 folding ratio.
Xpeng P7+ AD system
The Xpeng P7+ equips the new-gen AI Eagle Eye Vision autonomous driving system. Its main improvement compared to the previous AD system is perception and cognition speed. According to Xpeng, the perception distance of the Eagle Eye system rose by 125%. The recognition speed was increased by 40%. Xpeng boosted P7+’s efficiency in night and difficult weather conditions.
Xpeng P7+ powertrain
The entry-level car has a peak power of 180 kW (241 hp). A more powerful variant offers an electric motor for 230 kW (308 hp). The P7+ has a double wishbone suspension in the front axle and rear multi-link independent suspension.
