This is the new Dongfeng Fengshen A30 sedan, it will be launched on the Chinese car market later this month. Price will range from 70.000 to 110.000 yuan. The A30 is the largest Fengshen sedan so far, giving the brand an entry in the hyper competitive sub-compact sedan market. Fengshen is a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor, making a range of relatively cheap passenger cars.
Interior very gray with a few shiny bits. Sporty dials. Large screen in the center console.
Cigarette lighter sits lonely below.
Absolutely the best looking Dongfeng passenger car ever. The brand is on a roll lately. The A30 will soon be joined by the Fengshen AX7 SUV and work has started on a full-size luxury sedan.
The Fengshen A30 is powered by a 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 116hp and 145nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Size: 4530/1730/1490mm, wheelbase is 2620mm.
Rear lights looking good.
Many Chinese automakers don’t use engine covers and Dongfeng is one of them. They find it a waste of money, and right they are, especially since not a single Chinese car buyer will ever bother to look under the bonnet. I know a many car owners here in Beijing who honestly don’t know what kind of engine sits in their car. You can tell them whatever, an 8-liter twin-turbo V6 diesel, and they will believe you.
Grille with a neat bit of chrome.
