A brand new Tesla Model X has crashed in China, damaging the left-front fender, the bumper, headlight section, and the front suspension. The Model X was hit by a BYD F6 sedan on a crossing on an almost empty road in the city on Xinzheng near Zhengzhou in Henan Province.
The accident marks the first Model X crash in China. It happened around 19:00 on yesterday July 28. We don’t know whether the autopilot was on or not.

Spy Shots of the new Mitsubishi Lancer EX for China. It will debut in November on the Guangzhou Auto Show and launch on the Chinese car market in early 2017. It comes with the wild new Mitsubishi grille and interesting creases over the doors.
It is not entirely new. The platform is the same as under the current EX, engines will be the same too, and the basic body shape didn’t change either. So one could argue it is actually a very extensive facelift.

The brand new e Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GS8 will be launched on the Chinese car market in October, one month later than previously announced. The GS8 is the new flagship of the Trumpchi range and the largest car Guangzhou Auto has ever built. It is also the best looking SUVs from a Chinese car maker so far. Price will start around 150.000 and end around 200.000 yuan.

This is not a weird Chinese concept car. This is the crazy new Baojun 510, a new SUV that will be positioned below the Baojun 560. And where the latter looks good but boring, the 510 looks mad. Check those headlights and the bonnet!
The main light units are in the bumper. The wheel arches are straight on top. The mirrors are huge. Only bad is the D-pillar, which gets the same design as literally every new Chinese SUV. They all use the same design studio, it seems.

Price will range from 90.000 to 110.000 yuan, and that will put it straight in the middle of the hottest-selling segment of the moment. Note Italian-flag badge on the fender under the mirror.
The X7 was formerly known as the X5. The coming of the X7 brings out X7 tally to xx: the others are the Hanteng X7, the Lifan Maiwai X7, the Landwind X7, and the upcoming Zotye Damai X7.
