Today in One Minute Walk-around the massive Volkswagen Teramont, probably the best looking SUV on the market today. The Teramont is the Chinese sister of the North American Volkswagen Atlas. It was launched earlier this year and costs between $46,000 and 76,000.

The Teramont is made locally by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture and is positioned between the Tiguan and the Touareg.

There are three engines available: a 2.0 turbo with 186hp, a 2.0 turbo with 220hp, and the interesting 2.5 liter VR6 turbo with 299hp (not 300). All engines are mated to a seven-speed DCT and all models have four-wheel drive.

The interior is luxurious with loads of leather but sadly its touch screen is far too small for 2017; a problem that Volkswagen seems unable or unwilling to fix. Screen size MATTERS in China.
