Beijing Auto Show 2010: Beijing Auto C70EV Concept

The Beijing Auto (Beijing Qiche in Chinese, abbriviated to Beiqi, from Beijing Auto Works, or BAW, a brand from Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation, or BAIC), C70EV concept is based on the Beijing 700 concept that debuted on the 2008 Beijing Auto Show. But a lot has changed, the car is much more developed and now got an interior.

It came as an ‘EV’, electric vehicle, concept but looking at the size it could easily use the old Saab 9-5 platform that BAW recenlty bought from GM. The Saab was at the boot as well, with a new front and called C71. Size of the EV71: 4800x1840x1598. Saab 9-5 (1997-2010)/C70: 4836x1790x1453.
