Just when we thought Zotye has finally decided not to make clones of other carmakers’ handiwork and gradually morph itself into a more original brand, it surprised (no, not really actually) us once again with its Traum Meet 5, which looks far too much like the China-only Mazda CX-4.
Zotye’s new Traum brand is expanding fast. The T70 was launched last month, the Meet3 is on the way, and next up is this D50 SUV. It looks a tad more conservative than the other two, but not unpretty.
The Zotye Traum S70 has been launched on the Chinese car market, and it has become quite a good looking car, mixing elements of an MPV and an SUV, with a big black grille as the pea on the pie.
Zotye launches the Traum S70 SUV for China
The Traum S70 SUV is ready, it will be launched on the Chinese car market in January. Price will range from about 90.000 to 130.000 yuan.
This blue barge is the new Zotye Traum Meet 3, and isn’t that a great name for a vehicle? “I have a Meet 3”. “Wow cool!” Traum is a new brand under Zotye Auto, the name means dream in German. The Traum brand is aimed at young and cool people, folks who dig a name like Meet 3.
Zotye is working on a new brand called ‘Traum‘, and that means dream in German. The brand will focus on young car buyers. They will attack the market with two cars: the Traum S70 compact SUV and a small SUV formerly known by its code name A2.
We now know the real name: MEET3. ‘Meet’ as in to meet a penguin, 3 as in one two three. I am not sure what is means together, it isn’t very catchy, but it is certainly different. The Traum Meet3. Yes. Maybe we will get used to it.
Zotye Auto, famous for their SR9 Porsche Macan clone, is launching a new car brand in China. The brand is called Traum, which is German and means dream. It is the second automaker in a short time to go for a German name after Weltmeister. What is that all about..? The Chinese name has nothing with dreams of Germany; Junma (君马) is best translated as Supreme Horse. The English slogan is Driven by Dreams. The Chinese slogan, translated, Dream for a Horse.
