The GL 8: the minivan that saved Buick

The Buick GL8 is one of those cars that looks blend but hides an incredible story.

I remember being transported in a Buick GL8 for the first time in 2004. It was General Motors’ minivan from the 1990’s, and it was typical-GM all the way. I was impressed by how smooth and quiet the ride felt, how roomy the interior was with the leather captain second-row seats.

With the Arrizo 7 now mired in 3 digits sales volume, Chery is desperate to turn things around in the sedan segment with its new Arrizo 6. The Arrizo 6 captured here features Chery’s signature grill design and a pair of sporty looking head-lamps with “7” shaped Daytime Running Lights. At the back, the triangular shaped taillights are pierced by a line of chrome decoration which spans the rear.

The HS5 is derived from the U-concept which debuted last year. While the U-concept car measured 4750/1660/1940mm, the prototype in the pictures seem to be smaller in size. Our guess is that the car will probably be around 4.65m in length and 2.7m long in wheelbase
