Mazda 8 to be Made in China

Mazda wants a share of the lucrative Chinese mpv market and brings on the Mazda 8. It will be made by Mazda’s joint venture with FAW (First Auto Works). It comes with a 2.3 and a 2.3 turbo. One blue car was spotted near the factory in Changchun.

Competition: Guangzhou-Honda Oddyssey and new Shanghai-GM Buick GL8. The FAW-Mazda 8 will hit la market before the end of the year, price likely to start around 160.000 rmb.
