Dongfeng revealed the pricing of the eπ 007 electric sedan, costing 159,600 – 199,600 yuan (22,200 – 27,800 USD). The oddly named EV offers four options, including EREV and BEV versions.
The ‘eπ‘ is a new high-end EV brand under Dongfeng Aeolus launched last year in April at the Shanghai Auto Show. eπ 007 is its first car and debuted the previous year on November 10 in China. The deliveries will start in March.
The Dongfeng eπ 007 is a medium-to-large sedan with a 5-door, 5-seater configuration and a fastback shape. It has dimensions of 4880 mm in length, 1895 mm in width, and 1460 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2915 mm. The AWD version features 19″ performance wheels with five-spoke blade rims and red calipers, creating a sporty look, while other versions come with 18″ wheels.
The base model 200 Pro is an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) that is getting very popular in China. It is an EV with ICE, which works as a power generator and is not connected to wheels, unlike a PHEV. 200 Pro has a 28.39 kWh battery, suitable for a 200 km CLTC battery-only range; the car can go 1,200 km with a full tank. The electric motor has a maximum power of 160 kW and is mated with 5-cylinders 1.5 liters ICE, and the price is 159,600 yuan (22,200 USD).
The all-electric variant 530 Pro starts at 166,600 yuan (23,200 USD) with a 56.83 kWh battery good for the 530 km CLTC range. The single-rear electric motor is the same as the base model.
The long-range version is called 620 Pro and comes with a 70.26 kWh battery, which is suitable for the 620 km range. The single rear electric motor has 200 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque, and the car costs 179,600 yuan (25,000 USD).
The 540 Max variant, the top specification of the Dongfeng eπ 007, is an all-wheel-drive (AWD) model. It is equipped with twin electric motors, delivering a combined power of 400 kW (200 kW each for the front and rear motors) and a peak torque of 640 Nm.
It can sprint 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and electricity is stored in a 70.26 kWh LFP battery, providing a 540 km range under CLTC conditions. Despite being the flagship variant, the price is still under 200k yuan, coming at 199,600 yuan (27,800 USD).

The interior has a 15.6″ central control screen and an 8.8″ instrument panel for the driver. Plenty of physical buttons are on the two-spoke steering wheel and under the central screen. The cockpit operation system is called SOA and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. Dongfeng did not put any lidar on their eπ 007, but it is equipped with 31 sensors, and the company says the car is capable of L2 autonomous driving thanks to its NOA-assisted driving software (ADAS).
In addition, the entire vehicle series is equipped with V2V, V2L, and V2G external discharge functions.
Dongfeng is also preparing to unveil the second car under its eπ series in April. It is called eπ 008, and thanks to homologation fillings, we know it is a 5-meter-long electric SUV with three rows of seats and a range of about 700 km CLTC.
Dongfeng eπ 007 will compete in China with Zeekr 007, Xpeng P7 Deepal SL03, Leapmotor C01, Neta S, BYD Seal, or an updated Tesla Model 3.
This car looks really good
Competition is going extreme in China
Terrible variant naming, and a weird brand name..Will this work? Seems a good product though..
