A fat-ass Ford F-150 SVT Raptor with two hot Chinese babes on top, dressed fittingly in communist-army-style uniforms. Ford doesn’t officially sell the mighty Raptor in China, Ford for some reason doesn’t like to make money. This thing would sell like hell over here!
Some however make it over the Pacific, sold dealer-to-dealer, this particular Raptor was a second-hand from 2010 and could be bought for 690.000 yuan or 109.000 USD, new ones go easily over the million. The Raptor is powered by a 411hp 6.2 liter V8, great foe hanging around in the mountains up north from Beijing…
I don’t get it either, Ford has a number of vehicles that would do well in this market and yet they don’t seem to want to bring them to the Chinese market.
In fact the very lack of the most exciting Ford vehicles here has me confused.
Why isn’t the Mustang sold here? Explorer? etc etc.
I see these all over the place in Beijing recently. I think it’s the new fad, huge pickups are the new super cars for some.
