A very happy SouEast Delica van, Spotted in China just north of the Third Ring Road in Beijing. The good Delica is painted, no wrapping here!, in an eye pleasing Pink paint, and further prettied up by black windows, black mirrors, and black doorhandles. The van is surrounded by a blue sign showing the way to a nearby Audi dealer, an apparently useless road sign forbidding to enter a non existing road, an an giant battery of eight floodlights that enlight a nearby shopping center, at night.
White painted wheel covers. Extra large exhaust pipe tip. The Delica belongs to a wedding company. Well, if their weddings are as good as their van…
The SouEast Delica is a typical no-nonsense van popular among small companies from transporting everything from goats to groceries to building materials to beer to human beings, and stuff for weddings. Its name is derived from the English “DELIvery CAr”. This particular Pinky is a rather old 2001 model, still alive and we like!
Price of the current car starts around 90.000 yuan and ends around 120.000 yuan. Power comes from a Mitsubishi-sourced 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 120hp and 167nm, mated to a 5-speed manual.
SouEast logo in Bling for an even better wedding.
