Toyota Alphard Listed & Priced

Toyota’s Alphard will hit the Chinese market tomorrow, it comes as an import and not cheap. The 2.4 costs 610.800 yuan and the 3.5 784.800 yuan. That is a huge sum of money for what ain’t no more than a luxury van. Toyota got one thing for it: there is no competition for the Alphard, at all. But whether that’s really a good thing is the big question. My guess is it is not, Toyota might sell a few to airport taxi companies or hotels for vip-transport, but otherwise I don’t think there is a market for a car like this.
