Amidst the continuing controversy over the Landwind X7 SUV, a clear clone of the Range Rover Evoque, one could easily forget that Landwind makes another five vehicles for the Chinese car market. Some are good, some not so. Let’s have a look at the current line-up and some old:
An impressive line of 13 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Supercars, Spotted in China behind the windshield of a Volkswagen Passat sedan in the great city of Dalian in Liaoning Province. The vehicles were glued up with a seven-unit line coming from the left and five units from the right, with one car loose in the middle. Note live fly on the far right, that’s a real Dalian specimen!
A beautiful black Toyota Crown Super Saloon 3.0 Twin Cam 24, Spotted in China in the great city of Dalian in Liaoning Province. The good Crown was in splendid shape and clearly used as a daily driver. Good!, these fine old cars got to keep running as long as time permits.

The Zotye E20 debuted as a semi-concept on the Beijing Auto Show in April, and was launched in selected markets throughout China over the year. It is however not available anywhere near Beijing so I was very happy when I found two examples on the China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen last week.
The infamous Landwind X7 is a Chinese clone of the British-Indian Range Rover Evoque. But how much a clone exactly? We have shown comparisons inside and out, but some Chinese media are taking making comparisons to a whole new level, proving the X7 is indeed a pretty good clone, but not a perfect one. Let’s begin:
