Chinese EV startup XPeng went to the CES
XPeng went to CES Las Vegas where they unveiled the G3, a further development of the oddly named Identy X. The G3 is not totally in the clear when it comes to naming however; the company said that G3 stood for ‘Geek3’, and that this name was choose after a crowd-sourced contest.

This is the final production version of the Xpeng Identy X electric SUV, looking very tech in white with gray alloys and huge dark gray lights. The Identy X will be launched on the Chinese car market in the first quarter of next year. And Identy is not a spelling error, it is really the name of the car.

This is the brand new XPeng Beta, an electric SUV from China, looking very stylish and distinctively new-energy. The XPeng Beta is the brainchild of a company called Xiaopeng Motors, based in the great city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province. The Beta is currently in the prototype phase, hence the name, but the production version will be 90% similar.
