This is my new ultimate dream car from China. She is called the Ruijie H6, and I met her on the 2017 Jinan EV Show. She is a four-door double-cab five-seat tricycle LSEV pickup truck, and she looks brilliant: a Ferrari-red over-black paint job, black wheels with a red nut, a shiny bull bar, a shiny grille, red lint on the big black mirrors, a giant windshield wiper, a giant windshield, ….
The great city of Yichun in Jiangxi Province in China has banned all electric tricycle taxi’s from the city center. And not just that, they impounded them as well, a total of 934 (nine hundred thirty four) units. No parking lot in town was big enough for that so they dumped them in the Central Park stadium.

It was absolutely one of the weirdest and greatest vehicles on the show, featuring a front with a smile, pink-character decals, an impossible narrow plastic body, a large windshield with a single wiper, and huge black mirrors. The man in black with a hat was the owner of the company, we said ni hao and exchanged cards, but he was not of the talkative kind.

The Mulan Anai G2000 is a fast two-seat tricycle aimed at young hip-ish green-car buyers, featuring a streamlined cabin, an impressive array of headlights, sharply cut mirrors, and racy wheels ready for the circuit.
This is the brilliant Fuyingmen Yuedong 85, a new electric tricycle from China, seen last month on the Shandong EV Expo (intro) in Jinan City. The vehicle is painted in a bright kinda Pink and dressed to kill with a large white basket up front, a metal mudguard, beige-orange seats, propeller-like lights, and lots of speedy decals. Yuedong means ‘Happy Moving’.

The Shandong Shanneng SNF-1 is a two-door tricycle painted in Pink and white, featuring speedy decals, LED-like lights, large black mirrors, roof rails, a single windshield wiper, and racy wheels with shiny alloys.
