A beautiful black China-made Chrysler 300C, Spotted in China in the east of the capital Beijing. The 300C was in very good shape; completely original, clean, and without any rust or rot in sight.
A very sweet Chrysler Sebring Convertible, Spotted in China on a small second hand car market in east Beijing. The good ‘Rysler was painted in bright red, with a black roof, black mirrors, and darkened windows. The vehicle was in near perfect shape inside and out.
A very special car today in China Car History. This is the one and only Beijing-Jeep 2002, seen in the magnificent and now sadly closed Dalian Classic Car Museum in the great city of Dalian in Liaoning Province.
The Beijing-Jeep 2002 was a prototype for the successor of the famous Beijing Auto Works 212, a 4×4 utility vehicle used by the Chinese armed forces, it was built in 2002, hence the name. The competition was a bit muddy as all the entrants came from various parts of the Beijing Auto empire!
A sleek and streamlined Chrysler Intrepid sedan, Spotted in China just west of the eastern section of the Fifth Ring Road in Beijing. The big ‘Merican sedan was in very good shape, with a smooth body bar for a burst on the low part of the bumper.
A beautiful bling-bling Chrysler 300C sedan, Spotted in China in the Beijing Tuning Street. The good Chrysler has been sexed up to the absolute max, covered with more than 25.000 shiny plastic glitters that take the sun away, fitted with an extensive body kit and a custom-made interior, and standing on 21-inch wheels with even more glitter and shine.
This is the Beijing-Jeep BJ2022 Heroic, a rugged looking concept based on the Jeep Cherokee XJ that debuted on the 2010 Beijing Auto Show. The vehicle was developed by Beijing-Jeep, a Chinese-American joint venture between the Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation (BAIC) and the former Chrysler Corporation. The JV manufactured the Cherokee XJ in China.
A beautiful black Chrysler Sebring sedan, Spotted in China in the Fangzhuang Residential Area in Beijing. The fine vehicle looked very lean and very clean, the nearby towers mirroring in the long sculpted bonnet.
The Sebring was manufactured in China from 2007 until 2009 by the Beijing-Benz DaimlerChrysler Automotive Corporation (BBDC), a joint venture between the Beijing Auto Industry Corporation (BAIC) and DaimlerChrysler. The joint venture also made the Chrysler 300 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
Note the Jeep Cherokee 2500 at the other side of the street. It was manufactured by Beijing-Jeep, which was at the time partly part of the Daimler-Chrysler empire too, but technically a different joint venture.
A very beautiful black Chrysler Imperial, Spotted in China on a second hand car market in Beijing by Reader & Serial Spotter Navigator 84, thank you for the pictures! To the left behind the Chrysler a mad 1992 Buick Skylark. The seventh generation Chrysler Imperial was manufactured from 1989 until 1993, it was never officially exported to China so how this fine American car ended up in the Chinese capital is a mystery.
A very rare and very special vehicle, Spotted in China just outside the fourth Ring Road in Beijing. This is a Sanxing G-Star MPV, based on the third generation Chrysler Voyager. The G-Star was manufactured by a company called Guangdong Sanxing Auto from the great city of Zhanjiang in Guangdong Province.
A very dusty Chrysler Neon, Spotted in China on a car market in east Beijing. The poor vehicle was in a very bad shape and clearly abandoned, and somebody put a pair of shoes on the windshield! The horror. The Chrysler Neon was manufactured from 1994 until 2005. This green car in Beijing is a first generation example that was made from 1994 until 1999.
