Reuters reports that Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is suing the Chinese automaker Jiangling Motor (JMC) for copyright infringement and unfair competition. JMC is the largest shareholder of Landwind, the maker of the controversial Landwind X7, which is a near-perfect copy of the Range Rover Evoque.
Is JLR going to win? Based on looks alone they sure should, as the photos below will prove. But this being China; there is more than meets the eye.

Chinese women, we hear a lot of bad about them; redecorating parking lots, hurting McLarens, and washing Mercs in the river. But here we have a good one. A woman driving a white Range Rover Evoque in the great city of Xiamen in Fujian Province found a Jaguar blocking the way out of her parking lot.
Instead of trying to find the admittingly evil owner of the vehicle she decided to take things in her own hands and bumped the Jag’ away!

Auto Show in November and will have its China debut in Beijing in April with a launch on the Chinese car market in May, just in time for summer.

A fine first generation Land Rover Freelander 3-door hardback, Spotted in China in the suburbs of Beijing. The good Rover was in a fine shape, painted in a classy dark blue and looking smooth all over. Nothing was broken, everything original, and not a spat of rust in sight.

A brutal bling-bling Range Rover, Spotted in China in the Dongba area in the far eastern suburbs of Beijing. The racious Range is wrapped in an eye murdering shiny gold wrap, so shiny there is almost no light left in Dongba today, and further sexed up with an extra shiny grille and darkened windows.

The China-made Land Rover Discovery Sport has been launched on the Chinese car market. Price starts at 368.000 yuan and ends at 518.000 yuan ($58.000 – 81.800). The Chinese Disco-Sport debuted in September on the 2015 Chengdu Auto Show.

A beautiful black Land Rover Freelander, Spotted in China in the Lido area in Beijing. The old Rover was in perfect shape, clean and tidy, all original, and without a spot of rust or rot. The Freelander is fitted with a monstrous body kit, including a hefty bull bar, lights on the bumper, headlight covers, strips on the doors, wheel arch extensions with arrows, and side bars.

The China-made Land Rover Discovery Sport was debuted today on 2015 Chengdu Auto Show in China, it will go on sale in Q4 with a price starting around 450.000 yuan. The Discovery Sport is manufactured by the Chery-JLR joint venture that also makes the Range Rover Evoque.

The beautiful British barge is painted in Pink, no wrapping here, and further sexed up with a snorkel, headlight protectors, a skid pad, chrome bars under the doors, and sporty five-spoke alloys.

The China-built Range Rover Evoque has been officially launched on the Chinese car market. The Range Rover Evoque is manufactured in China by the Chery-JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) joint venture. The Evoque is just in time as its evil Chinese clone is expected to launch in April.
