The Acura NSX has been launched on the Chinese car market. As usual there was a launch ceremony with bigwigs and speeches, and a shameless exploitation of Ayrton Senna, who was somewhat involved in the development of the old NSX.
There is only one version available and it costs 2.89 million yuan or $420.000.

The new Acura CDX has been launched on the Chinese car market, and it is just as expensive as we feared. Price starts at 229.800 yuan and ends at 309.800 yuan, and that is a lot of money for a locally-made compact crossover with a 1.5 liter engine.

The Acura CDX will be launched on the Chinese car market later this month and the first examples have arrived at Acura dealers throughout China. Design is daring to the max, with an oddly shaped grille with a giant Acura logo in the middle. Headlights are interesting, wheels are small, and the rear is a tad too fat. It all makes for a somewhat wuzzy mix.

The Acura CDX has debuted in Beijing, one day and a half before the start of the actual Beijing Auto Show. The Honda event was for media only, the new cars were shown only briefly, and the interiors weren’t shown at all. The Acura CDX will hit the Chinese market in Q4, priced between 250.000 and 300.000 yuan.
