This is the new WEY VV6, a new SUV that will be positioned between the WEY VV5 and the WEY VV7. The VV6 is based on the same platform as the VV5, but it is 12.3 centimeters longer. All the extra length is added behind the C-pillar. Wheelbase didn’t change.
WEY debuted their new XEV electric concept car on the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The XEV previews a future compact sporty crossover.
This is the brand new WEY VV5, the somewhat smaller sister of the WEY VV7. The blue car on the photos is the sport version, called the VV5s. Launch on the Chinese market is scheduled for September. Price will range from about 120.000 to 160.000 yuan.
WEY has applied for patent on a new seven-seat SUV for China. It has a much larger grille than the recently launched WEY VV7 (a five-seater), but the looks are otherwise similar to the other WEYs we have seen so far.
The new WEY VV7 SUV was launched on the Chinese car market last month. Time thus for a visit to the WEY dealer in Beijing. Yes, the dealer, because as for now there is only one. They are based in a brand new building just outside the eastern section of the Fifth Ring Road.
The WEY VV7 SUV has been launched on the Chinese auto market. The VV7, formerly known as the 01, is the first car of Great Wall’s new “premium SUV” WEY brand. The VV7 comes in two kinds: a basic version called VV7c and a sporty version called VV7s. Price starts at 167.800 yuan and ends at 188.800 yuan ($24.388 – 27.384). Hardly premium money and not even that expensive for a Great Wall.
WEY wins the prize for the Best New Car Name (BNCM) on the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show in China. This red vehicle is called the Pi4 VV7x. So easy to remember, so easy to pronounce, so easy to write down, so catchy! Just say it slowly… Pi4 VV7x. Wonderful! Congrats to WEY.
The very first photos of the WEY VV7, formerly known as the WEY 01. The VV7 will be launched on the Chinese car market later this month. Somewhat confusingly the white car on the photos appears to be the sportier S model (compare with base model) with a racy bumpers and four big exhaust pipes, but it doesn’t have the S badge on the back. In anyway, we expect WEY to confuse us a many times more.
It appears we have the initial WEY range complete. Earlier on we saw the WEY 02 and WEY 02 S, the WEY 01, and now we got the WEY 01 S. The names are a tad confusing in their simpleness. The WEY 01 is the larger car, the 02 the smaller one. Each has a base version and a sporty version called S.
On these photos the WEY 01 S. It comes with a racy bumper, different alloys, and four round tail pipes instead of two square ones. Otherwise there don’t seem to be any clear differences.
