Two wondrous white supercars, Spotted in China on the Beijing Tuning Street in front of the Manthey Motors shop. To the left a super speedy McLaren 650S, and to the right a monstrous Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Both cars were born after the demise of the madass Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR.
The 650S was fitted with a light blue alcantara interior, hidden from the eye by darkened windows. Headlights are darkened too, and alloys are in matte black with yellow brake calipers.
The 650S is powered by a manic twin-turbocharged 3.8 liter V8 engine with 650hp, hence the name, and 680nm. Top speed is 333km/h and 0-100 is gone in 3 seconds. The 650S was launched on the Chinese car market in for a hefty 3.75 million yuan or 590.000 USD.
The Mercedes was fitted with a black over white interior, and further dressed up with darkened windows, darkened headlights, racy six-spoke alloys, and a chromed fuel cap.
The SLS AMG was and is one of the most popular super cars in China ever, When new price started at 3.62 million yuan or 590.000 USD. Power comes from a rumbling and bumbling 6.2 liter V8 with 560hp and 650nm, top speed is 317km/h and 0-100 is gone in 3.8 seconds.
Just then a modified Ferrari FF arrived at the neighboring Novitec shop, disturbing me doing my busy job. The speedy shooting brake has been prettified with the usual Novitec stuff; black rear lights, a black carbon spoiler, a roof spoiler, a diffuser, extra large tires with shiny five-spoke alloys and red brake calipers, and a carbon front lip.
